Capabilities

CNC Machining

CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery, from grinders and lathes to mills and routers. With CNC machining, three-dimensional cutting tasks can be accomplished in a single set of prompts.

Vacuum Resin Impregnation

Vacuum resin impregnation is a multi-step process designed to fill the naturally occurring porosity in cast metal and powder metal components to minimize or eliminate leak paths within the casting.

Inspection

Our 2500 square-foot, climate controlled, inspection facility stands as a clear demonstration of our commitment to quality. The inspection facility is certified and maintained to MIL-I-45208-A and is ISO/TS compliant.

Leak Testing

The leak tests are an early identification of defects in manufacturing parts or sealing integrity and is a non-destructive test.

Fixture Design & Manufacturing

From part design and tool assembly layout to detailed tooling design and validation, Schwartz Machine streamlines the entire tool development process. Our advanced functionality, step-by-step guidance and associativity with part designs are a solution to even the most challenging tooling and fixture designs.

Honing and High Pressure Wash

The honing process provides the final sizing and creates the desired finish pattern on the interior of tubing or cylinder bores. Honing is typically required to achieve bore diameter tolerances of ±0.0002 inch or tighter with high quality surface finishes.
